What counts as a "tag"?
Each time a rule applies a tag to an order, product or customer, it counts as 1 tag against your monthly quota. Removing a tag also counts as 1. Re-evaluations that don't change anything are free.
What happens if I hit my monthly limit?
New tags pause for the rest of the month and we send you an email. Your rules stay in place — they pick back up at the start of the next billing cycle. Upgrade anytime to lift the cap immediately.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, anytime. Upgrade and the new limit kicks in immediately; downgrade and the change applies at the next billing cycle. Your rules and history are kept either way.
Do unused tags roll over to the next month?
No — quotas reset on each billing cycle. Pick a plan that comfortably covers a typical month rather than the absolute peak. You can always upgrade for a busy month.
How does the free trial work?
Every paid plan starts with a 15-day free trial. You're only billed if you stay past day 15. No credit card is needed up front — Shopify handles billing once your trial ends.
How am I billed?
Through your Shopify subscription — the Easy Tagging charge appears on your regular Shopify invoice. No separate credit card, no setup fee, no hidden charges.
What's "priority processing"?
On Pro and Enterprise, tag events go through a dedicated faster queue. In peak periods (Black Friday, drops) this means your tags land within seconds even when the platform is under heavy load.
Will my rules keep working if I uninstall?
Uninstalling disables real-time tagging. The tags we already applied to your orders / products / customers stay in Shopify — they're part of your store's data, not ours.
Can I run a rule on existing orders / products?
Yes — on any paid plan, every rule has an Apply now action that runs it across your entire historical catalog. No item cap, no extra charge.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Rules are built visually with criteria + tags. If even that feels like work, describe what you want in plain English and the AI assistant will write the rule for you.
